HATCH is currently seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Asset Management / Asset Performance Management Project Manager to join our North American Infrastructure Practice in our vehicle mechanical engineering group in our Atlanta, GA office.

 

The ideal candidate must possess broad-based knowledge of enterprise asset management (work management, maintenance tactics, familiarity with configuration management, asset lifecycle tracking, scheduling, OT/IT systems) and asset performance management (asset condition, monitoring of OT/IT data, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) tracking, reliability studies, and failure curves). Additional qualifications desired include experience in conducting functional workshops, creating functional business process documentation, data structure and flow between systems of record, project management experience, integration and data processing for integrations, ability to manage up and down project teams, knowledge of general maintenance shop practices and processes in a rail or industrial environment.

 

Working as a key member of the Hatch Team, you will provide leadership in development, deployment, enhancement, and implementation of EAM/APM systems within the transit environment including rail, bus, linear infrastructure, and Maintenance of Way. You will thrive in a fast-paced project environment and will be passionate about helping our clients improve their asset and performance management practices.

 

The candidate must demonstrate a high work ethic; be willing to work independently or under limited instruction; be able to interact well with customer staff in a field environment; and demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills including team management, project management, multitasking, and meeting deadlines. Domestic travel may be required.

 

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Oversee external and/or internal implementation teams responsible for the development and implementation of EAM/APM systems for our clients.
  • Develop, Mentor and Coach a team on both technical and functional implementation of EAM/APM systems.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the EAM/APM systems to define requirements and user stories to ensure clients are receiving the technical expertise to implement or upgrade existing systems.
  • Ability to define a functional/technical solution architecture to client business challenges.
  • Provide insight on strategic objectives and roadmap frameworks for the integration of EAM/APM systems to other client business systems.
  • Ensure the oversight of the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data oversight.
  • Ability to engage at various levels throughout an organization and external software vendor to ensure project efficiency.
  • Work in collaboration with our Advisory / Change Management to develop change management and organizational strategies to support APM (Asset Performance Management) / EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems implementations.
  • Work in collaboration with our Advisory / Asset Management team on the implementation of business workflows within the APM / EAM
  • Work in collaboration with our Data Science and Advisory / Asset Management team on the development of predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Work in collaboration with our Digital Project Delivery team to implement APM and EAM related use cases.
  • Creation of the detailed functional and technical architectures for the APM / EAMS with a full understanding of the system requirements, data sources, performance analysis techniques (e.g., OEE) and track and trace requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and solve their complex or overlooked business problems.
  • Support the development and implementation/integration of “Level 1” and “Level 2” systems such as Control Systems, Timeseries Historians, Manufacturing Execution Systems with EAM/APM Systems.
  • Data integrity controls and integration with the financial and other disparate systems
  • Support development and implementation of effective and sustainable training programs and documentation for new and experienced system administrators and users if required.
  • Develop documentation to demonstrate knowledge of customer requirements and configuration needs of EAM/APM
  • Monitor and evaluate APM / EAMS performance to ensure alignment with client’s performance goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and all applicable rules and regulations.

 

You bring to the role:

  • Academic training in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Systems Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, or another related field. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Experience leading project execution and product teams both at Client Organization in industries like Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Transit, Rail, Bus, Ports and/or on an EAM/APM Systems Integrator or Technology Providers organization.
  • EAM and APM expertise with systems such as Meridian, Bentley, ABB Eclipse, IBM Maximo, INFOR, Trapeze, Zedas or other systems
  • Verbal and written communication, including ability to describe complex issues in terms system users can readily understand.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience with development or systems integration or implementation of EAM/APM systems with a proven track record in project management.
  • Respect in the industry, with knowledge of the local market, and respected connections in the EAM/APM markets.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in an EAM or APM project environment.
  • Translating and solutioning user-derived activities and end-user requirements into effective and efficient platform configuration documentation to attain client business objectives.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with client stakeholders
  • Developing quality control techniques related to final product completion.
  • Using professional and/or technical concepts to perform assigned duties and solve problems.
  • Must be able to engage and execute from remote locations if required.
  • SQL or other database experience (preferred skill but not required)
