Frequently asked questions

What is recruitment fraud?

It has come to our attention that fraudulent employment offers have been received from individuals claiming to be recruiting on behalf of Hatch.

Recruitment fraud is generally presented as unsolicited emails, fake websites, text messages, and even phone calls.  Hatch does not participate in these practices. All of Hatch’s open career positions are posted here.

What are signs of recruitment fraud?

  • Genuine Hatch emails end in “@hatch.com.” Any emails using a different form are not authentic.
  • Perpetrators use mobile phone numbers rather than office numbers.
  • Communications have spelling and grammatical errors or are poorly formatted.
  • The email or communication is marked as “urgent”.
  • The employment offer is for an international position.
  • The perpetrator asks for money (e.g., for visa fees, taxes, a percentage of travel expenses) and requests personal information such as passport and bank account details.

What to do if you suspect recruitment fraud?

If you receive a suspicious recruitment offer that appears to come from Hatch, do not respond. For any concerns, please email rcmsupport@hatch.com. Note that we will not accept résumés sent to this mailbox.

What is required of me when I apply online?

When applying online through our careers site, create a profile and provide basic contact information.

Currently we search for candidates in two ways: 1) by searching your résumé and 2) by searching the fields in your candidate profile. We would like to know more about you so we can find a job that best fits you. By completing the fields in your profile you increase the chances that our recruiters find your information in a candidate search. Please keep in mind that you can also adjust your visibility preferences on your profile.

We will contact you if we find a position matching your personal interests and abilities. Good luck!
