Hatch is currently seeking a motivated and passionate Pursuit Manager to join our Brisbane office. Your role will involve helping nurture Hatch’s existing business as well as identifying and assisting us secure new opportunities in the Australia-Asia region. 

 

Ideal candidates will be those individuals looking to take their career to the next level - with an expressed desire to have a measurable impact on Hatch’s regional client engagement efforts and sales. This is a true partnership role, working side by side our business unit leads and senior directors as a trusted advisor to support their pursuit of business development opportunities.

Some of the key activities of this role will include:

 

  • Develop and enact client engagement plans consistent with regional business plans
  • Identify must-win pursuits, prior to RFP release
  • Encourage global pursuit best-practices on all must-win opportunities
  • Coordinate internal resources on must-win pursuits
  • Provide Win Strategy Development expertise
  • Be a persuasive messaging architect, identifying and addressing client hot buttons
  • Prepare teams for internal Win Strategy Reviews (WSRs) with executives and client meetings, including short-list interviews
  • Serve as an industry expert on business news for the region, keeping internal clients informed
  • Identify marketing needs and opportunities during the business development cycle and work with Marketing to execute on these needs
  • Facilitate Hatch Sales Training courses

 

If you possess a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering and have solid experience in a relevant role and our industry we are keen to hear from you.

Ideally you will also be able to demonstrate:

 

  • Experience pursuing new business, preferably with large pursuits
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Enthusiasm to become a part of a professional global fraternity known for its experience in business development, marketing, pursuit management, engineering, project management and Hatch’s core lines of business.

 

Any existing clients contacts in the Metals industry will also be considered an asset.
