Hatch is currently seeking a motivated, organised and proactive Proposal Development Manager to join our Brisbane office. Working alongside our Bid Managers, you will fine tune Hatch Australia-Asia’s existing proposal process, ensuring the content and overall quality of our proposals accurately represents Hatch’s exceptional talent and capabilities within the Australia-Asia region.

Providing you the opportunity to manage the overall proposal development process, your goal will be to ensure we produce and deliver a professional, world class product to our future clients.

Some of the key activities of your role will include:

Providing advice on the Executive Summary:

  • Working closely with the Bid Manager to ensure quality, accuracy and professional presentation
  • Ensuring our win themes and messaging is clear
  • Working with the graphics team to enhance layout, format and other aesthetical aspects

Managing the Proposal Development Process:

  • Representing the Client Engagement Team during proposal meetings from kick-off to completion
  • Working  with Bid Managers to assign responsible individuals to proposal sections - also assigning deadlines and monitoring progress throughout the bid period
  • Guide and mentor dedicated administrative support – ensuring they are trained to complete all documentation in compliance with both company and proposal requirements from proposal set up to submission

Ideally, you will also possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Marketing and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on proposals – ideally in one of Hatch’s core industries – mining, energy or infrastructure
  • Technical writing experience – with excellent written communication skills and grammatical knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
