Hatch is currently seeking a SAP Security Analyst for our Hatch Digital group. This opportunity is located in our Mississauga office, starting November 2018.

The iPas TF Team in Hatch Digital configures, programs, and maintains the SAP enterprise applications used by Hatch’s Shared Services, Management, and client-facing Project Teams. These components include SAP ECC (modules include HCM, Time, FI, CO, SD, PS and CPM), SuccessFactors, C4C, Fiori LaunchPad, Business Warehouse, Business Objects as well as some other cloud-based HR solutions.

The Security Analyst is responsible for SAP security controls provisioning, administration and maintenance. The successful candidate will be part of a team operating globally to enhance and support an evolving SAP environment. The primary function of the role includes designing and implementing security roles, maintaining segregation of duties, risk and controls analysis, user access provisioning, administrative activities, security analytics, reviews and reporting.

You have good knowledge of SAP security and are a team player, yet an independent thinker, comfortable with sharing and accepting ideas in an open manner. You are a hard worker, able to take on demanding and time-constrained tasks.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, deliver and support quality, secured solutions.
  • Provide operational and project support in the user access framework across all Hatch SAP landscapes including add-on applications such as Business Objects, Business Warehouse, ECC, Fiori, SuccessFactors, interfaces and Solution Manager.
  • Design, build and test roles in alignment with SAP Best Practice guidelines (PFCG, SU24).
  • Provide support for the SAP move-add-change-delete process, particularly as it pertains to role changes throughout various instances.
  • Accountable for delivery of roles and authorizations aligned with business processes and controls.
  • Assist with audit reviews and pro-active controls monitoring (Financial, Security and Licensing).
  • Perform user administration functions within Central User Administration.
  • Implement and test security notes, upgrades, legal/compliance patches, deployments and enhancements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members, business and IT teams to troubleshoot issues with user access and security objects
  • Work with and coach other SAP team members in designing and implementing security changes and analyzing or troubleshooting SAP security-related issues.
  • Respond to business and project priorities and negotiate scope, budget and timing for enhancements and fixes.
  • Perform risk analysis, identify risks and work with stakeholders to reduce or resolve risks
  • Prepare documentation according to standards and need.
  • Adhere to and contribute to Hatch standards applicable to the SAP environment.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices for the evolving SAP environment

 

Skills / Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience supporting ERP application security in a dynamic business environment, supporting multiple parallel projects.
  • Hands on SAP security configuration experience and user administration is a must.
  • Experience with at least 1 full life cycle SAP ECC implementation.
  • A track record of success working on large, complex SAP related initiatives and SAP support processes.
  • Strong SAP technical design skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with responding to and assisting with audit demands.
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills, including financial analysis of alternative strategies.
  • Ability to think big picture
  • Ability to produce well-written documents and presentations.
  • Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment.
  • Exposure to SAP Training: ADM940, ADM950, ADM960.
  • Ability to self-learn new systems and technologies.
  • Willing to work outside of normal business hours as part of a global team.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
