Hatch is currently looking to hire a Senior Estimator to join the team ideally based in Adelaide however open to candidates located in other major Australian cities where Hatch has operating offices.
We are seeking applications from Estimators who ideally have EPCM experience – working in and servicing multidisciplinary teams and Projects.
Successful candidates will be required to work with Project teams and in accordance with Project requirements.
Responsibilities of these roles include (but are not limited to):
- Delivery of accurate and comprehensive estimates in accordance with estimating procedures, standards and practices
- Calculation of direct and indirect costs from a first principles basis or factored as applicable
- Monitoring and upgrading of estimating database
- Mentor and guide junior estimators as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent safety culture
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple Disciplines and across the project lifecycle from conceptual/factored estimating through to detailed first principles
- Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary environment
- Can work with minimal guidance
- Experience in completing independent / third party estimate reviews
- Ability to effectively engage with key Client and Internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment sharing and seeking inputs from others
- Competent in Microsoft applications and estimating software
