Senior Mining Engineer

The Senior Mining Engineer based in Adelaide is responsible for managing and leading FEL 1,2 and 3 (Concept, Prefeasibility and Feasibility) projects through a structured management process that begins with contextualizing the project, moving through set up, execution, evaluation and eventually close out. 

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Grow the mining business in the Western Australia region. Understand the critical success factors and business objectives of the practice, in order to identify, initiate and share technical and operational best practices.

• Provide leadership and create a highly committed and aligned team environment focused on delivering positive project outcomes for the client.

You bring to the role:  

Qualifications in a relevant mining engineering discipline (mining, mechanical etc.) combined with solid experience in cross functional leadership roles in multi-disciplinary project environments, with a strong underground experience set.  You have advanced safety awareness and an ability to function well as part of, and leading, a team environment.  You will bring your demonstrated commercial and business development skills in conjunction with experience in engineering, procurement and construction, and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.  You value the client with strong client focus and have a well-developed written and oral communication skills.
