As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.

Hatch is seeking a Finance Intern. Reporting to the Shared Services group, you will support offices globally working from our Ambler, PA office location.

While flexibility is always provided to work remotely when needed, we encourage our teams to be in the office for most of the time. Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a relevant degree
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Work on problems and gain experience in a variety of accounting-related areas
• Gain an appreciation for private sector accounting roles and responsibilities
• Recognize accounting aspects relevant to the engineering/professional services industry
• Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally
• Work in an environment where you can apply your academic learning on a daily basis
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses
• Assist with customer billing/invoicing
• Participate in the creation of reports and templates
• Support day-to-day finance department activities
• Support the project accounting group
• Support a variety of department business and operational needs

You bring to the role:

• Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables)
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus
• Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred
