Package Engineer Skills 

  • Has knowledge of the applicable environment, equipment, and services 
  • Delegates, sets priorities and acts directly towards the target 
  • Effective communication in conversations, presentations and written documents 
  • High proficiency in local language. Certain level of proficiency in second languages may be required 
  • Has project staff management capability 
  • Is able to lead activities and integrate all influencing factors with minimal project disruption 
  • Thinks conceptually 
  • Pays attention to detail 
  • Builds and maintains stakeholder relationships 

Package Engineer Experience 

  • Technical knowledge and experience with equipment of the package. 
  • Has had exposure to EPCM project environments 
  • Working knowledge and implementation of Hatch Systems 
  • Is experienced in all stages of the project lifecycle (concept, basic and detail design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, handover) 
  • Is experienced in support of commercial management (equipment package or contract) 
  • Is experienced in the flow of information & data within a project environment 
  • Is familiar with construction and commissioning methodologies for each discipline and performance testing 
  • Has had exposure to engineering analysis and design processes 
  • Has appropriate technical knowledge of, and experience with, equipment in the package 
  • Plant integration techniques 
  • Logistic support analyses & logistics elements, as well as Operational Readiness concepts 
  • Commercial contract conditions and the form of contract used 
  • Client and Hatch corporate quality & safety systems, including Health & Safety requirements relevant to the project, equipment, and site.
