Student Vaction opportunity: Build the extraordinary, every day

The Hatch Student Vaction Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

As part of the Simulation team, you will be exposed to complex industrial systems focused on capacity analysis, debottlenecking and optimisation of processes and operations. You will be given the opportunity to work as part of a global team responsible for the design, improvement, and implementation of integrated technical, human, and financial solutions through the application of analytical skills, discrete event simulation, and other engineering skills.

You bring to the role:

You will be working towards bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.

The 12-week program commences on Monday, 23 Nov 2026. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 18 December 2026 and will reopen Monday, 4 January 2027.
