Within the Shared Services, Hatch is looking to engage an Accounts Receivable Officer to service the Australia-Asia (AUA) region. The role will be based in Brisbane, one of Hatch’s Global Delivery Centre offices.
Becoming an integral part of the AUA Finance team requires an inspiring individual to succeed in this role. Reporting to the AUA Finance Operations Manager, you will support the Accounts Receivable function across Hatch’s mining, metals, energy and infrastructure businesses.

Core Functional Tasks & Key Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
•    Management and control over assigned ledger
•    Improve receivables by following up unbilled balances promptly with Project Managers 
•    Support Project Managers to improve their project unbilled receivables by regular liaison and update
•    Provide relevant reconciliations of project reports and other relevant details to our internal and external clients when necessary or when requested 
•    Provide and maintain up to date and accurate history of conversations and actions taken on all billed follow ups
•    Recommend and communicate improvements in service with other team members


Key required skills, experience and attributes:
•    Detailed knowledge and demonstrated experience within a Finance team.
•    Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to relate to others.
•    Sound oral and written communication skills to achieve and maintain successful work outcomes and positive working relationships.
•    Ability to identify and analyze data and issues, develop options and provide advice.
•    Demonstrated intermediate computer skills, particularly Excel will be required
•    Understanding the fundamentals of accounting.
•    Previous billing experience an advantage but not essential
