Looking for an Accounts Receivable Role with a difference? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance group in Brisbane.
Becoming an integral part of the AUA Finance team requires an inspiring individual to succeed in this role. Reporting to the AUA Finance Operations Manager, you will support finance function across Hatch’s mining, metals, energy and infrastructure businesses.

As the successful candidate, you will:


  • Management and control over assigned ledger
  • Raising Invoices for assigned Business Units
  • Working to deadlines
  • Support Project Managers to improve their project unbilled receivables by regular liaison and update
  • Provide relevant reconciliations of project reports and other relevant details to our internal and external clients when necessary or when requested
  • Liaising with external clients and internal departments to ensure all invoice queries are resolved and paid
  • Provide and maintain up to date and accurate history of conversations and actions taken on all unpaid invoices follow up
  • Recommend and communicate improvements in service with other team members

You bring to the role:


We are looking for candidates with a strong customer focus, team work skills and exceptional interpersonal skills. An understanding of the fundamentals of accounting will be an advantage. You will be proficient with the use of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, along with a 'can-do', self-motivated attitude.  We strive to maintain a culture that welcomes diversity of thought, individual contribution and team collaboration.
