The Hatch Advisory practice fills the gap between technological innovation and strategy consulting to drive sustainable growth of the bottom line of our clients. We are growing at a very rapid pace across the globe and we are looking for an Advisory Analyst to join our dynamic and passionate team in Brisbane.

 

As an Advisory Analyst you will be responsible for consulting with clients on business improvement, investment and business planning, strategy development, and operational readiness. You are required to analyze business technical performance, identify and manage risks, develop financial models to support investment decisions, and prepare deliverables such as reports, plans, and presentations for clients. This client facing role requires the Advisory Analyst to effectively work alongside clients to identify, unlock and materialize their goals.

 

Some key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Report to internal and external stakeholders on project outcomes and future activities required to sustain continuous improvement.
  • Select and use business analysis tools and techniques, asset improvement, process optimization and asset management techniques for a range of client projects.
  • Work alongside clients to identify business opportunities, create and execute strategy, development expected outcomes, and sustain outcomes through asset strategies, key performance indicators and performance measures.
  • Assist in the development of cash flow financial models and asset cost structure models.
  • Aid in the development of communications (proposals, reports, presentations, etc.).
  • Work alongside the Advisory team to engage with clients to further develop business opportunities.
  • Plan, organise and execute regular risk analysis for project assessment and conduct due diligence reviews.
  • Conduct audits to identify adjustment activities to ensure that improvement outcomes align with client’s business needs.
  • Facilitate workshops with clients.

 Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Commerce/ Business or Economics.
  • Industry relevant experience in developing project deliverables for clients.
  • Strong data analytics skills, including experience with business requirements gathering, analysis and ability to translate business requirements into technical process solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to deliver high quality financial models and reports for clients.
  • Knowledge of maintenance requirements, maintenance planning, shutdown /turnaround management, maintenance management systems, tools and methodologies such as reliability centered maintenance (RCM) would be considered an asset.

 

Base Salary will commence at AUD $65,000 commensurate with experience.
