Our Civil Engineering team delivers a broad range of services across the transport infrastructure sector, including site selection and planning, spatial information and digital terrain modelling, earthworks and site grading, drainage modelling, and flood and impact studies. We work closely with our earth sciences and wider engineering teams to deliver integrated and technically sound outcomes. With a strong portfolio of current work, a recent significant project win, and secured workload ahead, our Brisbane team is seeking a CSR Engineer to support project delivery on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop combined services route engineering design solutions for detailed design and construction
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support project delivery and meet client and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets, and reports
  • Prepare material take‑offs and bills of quantities
  • Participate in and contribute to design reviews
  • Review and check engineering drawings, working closely with civil designers and drafters to ensure required standards are met
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities and the safe delivery of projects

 

About You

You will hold a Bachelor of Civil and/or Environmental Engineering and have 3+ years’ experience working on rail or transport infrastructure projects. You bring a practical understanding of both design and construction delivery and have working knowledge of civil design tools such as OpenRoads, 12d Model, Civil3D, DRAINS, CivilStorm, or CulvertMaster. You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced, project‑focused environment and contributing effectively within defined timeframes. Strong communication skills, high personal safety standards, integrity, and a collaborative approach are essential. Knowledge of road and rail authority standards, particularly TMR, and exposure to Australian statutory and regulatory requirements are highly valued, along with experience in a client‑facing capacity.
