As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
Hach is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our Corporate Services team. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the best solution regarding space management, planning, and coordination of facilities operations for Hatch offices across Australia. As the successful candidate, you will:
- Manage our Corporate Services team
- Coordinate with the Global Facilities team
- Manage building operations and facilities for our offices in the Australia-Asia region
- Update and maintain floor plans
- Prepare yearly capital budgets and execute them
- Assist with setting up national accounts for office services with suitable vendors
- Ensure all contractors on site follow Hatch’s Safety procedures
- Assist the local Health and Safety committee members with monthly building inspections;
- Take responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the security access cards and for the security system
- Meets regularly with local Managing Director and other stakeholders to discuss and review planning requirements;
- Communicate with landlords on any maintenance, repair or new construction as needed
You bring to the role:
You are experienced in multi-site facilities management, with excellent organisational and communication skills and a flexible, adaptable mindset. You possess outstanding relationship and project management capabilities, and are a solution focused problem solver. You are a confident and professional leader, with a proven ability to develop and inspire teams. Your strong stakeholder management skills enable you to build trust, manage expectations effectively, and foster collaborative partnerships.
