Our Geotechnical team is at the forefront of innovation - bringing together expertise in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modelling, subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, hydrotechnical analysis, flood forecasting, and water resource management. From concept to construction, we deliver cutting‑edge geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development solutions that power some of the most exciting projects across the globe.
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a vital role in a dynamic engineering team, contributing to multidisciplinary projects from early planning to detailed design and on‑site investigation. Your work will span advanced numerical modelling, analysis, and technical problem‑solving, helping to deliver high‑impact projects in the Infrastructure, Mining, and Energy sectors.
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Perform conceptual and detailed engineering design
- Undertake both office‑based and field geotechnical engineering activities
- Provide specialist geotechnical advice and advanced analytical services
- Prepare engineering calculations and technical specifications
- Develop and contribute to technical memos and reports within your expertise
- Support engineering, operating, and capital cost estimate development
- Stamp documents and drawings where required (and where registration allows)
- Conduct construction supervision and management as project needs arise
- Partner closely with site engineering teams to deliver timely technical solutions
- Embed safety‑in‑design and integrity principles across all design documentation
You bring to the role:
You hold a recognised degree in civil engineering from an accredited university and maintain professional engineering registration. With over five years of experience in geotechnical design, you’ve developed a strong foundation in soil mechanics, field investigations, and the design and rehabilitation of water control structures. You are skilled in civil instrumentation and in performing stability and seepage analyses for channel slopes, riverbanks, dams, dikes, and natural slopes. Your background includes working effectively within multidisciplinary project environments, supported by a solid understanding of design codes and technical standards. You communicate clearly, collaborate well, plan and organise effectively, and thrive working independently when needed. Above all, you bring strong safety awareness and a commitment to delivering high‑quality engineering outcomes.
