Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking highly motivated Graduate Surface Water / Environmental Engineers (focused on Water Resources and Surface Water Assessment) to join our Project Delivery Group, supporting the Civil/Hydrotechnical team in Brisbane.
If you are interested to learn about climate change impact assessment, flood modelling, spillway design, dam break assessment and other water engineering related topics, then this is the right path for you.
What we do:
Our team works on variety of projects in the field of mining, energy and infrastructure. Some of the services that we provide are:
- Hydrological and hydraulic (flood) modelling and assessment
- Drainage analysis
- Climate change impact assessment (flooding and drought) including water planning.
- Hydraulic analysis and design of water structures (e.g., diversions, levees, culverts, bridges, spillways, chutes, energy dissipation structures, etc.)
- Consequence category and dam break assessments of water and tailings storages
- Water balance & reservoir operations modelling
- Stormwater & water quality management
As the successful candidate, you will be:

- Bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a strong academic record
