With Hatch securing a major infrastructure project, we’re expanding our team and creating exciting new opportunities for talented engineers. This is a chance to help shape one of Queensland’s fastest‑growing regions by contributing to sustainable, community‑enhancing transport infrastructure. We’re looking for experienced engineers across several key areas including Bridge Engineers, Road Engineers, Rail Systems Engineers and Track Engineers.

Across these roles, responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high‑quality technical design and engineering outputs for transport infrastructure projects
• Working within multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, constructible solutions
• Preparing design documentation, reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Supporting project planning, feasibility assessments, and delivery reviews
• Ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Engaging with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams
• Contributing to innovation, sustainability, and digital engineering practices
• Providing technical input through all project phases, from concept to detailed design

We welcome engineers with diverse technical backgrounds, but generally you will have:

• Five or more years’ demonstrated experience contributing to the successful delivery of road, bridge, rail, or transport infrastructure projects within multidisciplinary teams
• Tertiary qualification in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline
• Strong technical capability and sound understanding of relevant standards and design codes
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments and collaborate effectively with others
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills
• A commitment to delivering safe, sustainable, and high-quality engineering outcomes
