We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Project Controller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build their project controls career while contributing to the successful delivery of complex engineering and project environments. Working alongside experienced project controls professionals, you will gain exposure to project cost control, reporting, forecasting, progress measurement, and project performance analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project cost control, forecasting, and reporting activities across engineering and delivery projects.
  • Assist with project progress measurement and performance monitoring to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain project controls systems and project performance data.
  • Prepare regular project reports and dashboards to support project decision-making.
  • Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
  • Analyse project data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate project information is maintained.
  • Support project controls processes and continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle.

 

About You

You are an organised and proactive early-career professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in project controls and project delivery. You have relevant post-graduate experience in a project, coordination, engineering, or construction environment and enjoy working collaboratively within a team. Your strong numerical abilities, attention to detail, and commercial awareness allow you to confidently work with project data and reporting requirements. You will ideally hold a degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and exposure to Power BI are highly regarded. Strong communication skills, excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to learn and develop within a dynamic project environment will be key to your success in this role.
