As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
 

We’re looking for a developing tax professional (around 4+ years’ experience) to join our Tax team and support a wide range of Australian and cross‑border tax compliance, reporting, and governance activities. This role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their technical capability in a multinational environment, particularly with exposure to international tax.

 

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Tax Manager, you’ll support the delivery of Australian tax compliance and assist with regional and global reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Payroll, Mobility, project teams, and external advisors, gaining hands‑on experience across corporate and international tax.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Corporate & International Tax

  • Prepare Australian corporate income tax returns and supporting workpapers
  • Support withholding tax and cross‑border payment obligations
  • Assist with International Dealings Schedule (IDS) data and analysis
  • Consolidate regional inputs for global tax reporting
  • Maintain cash tax forecasts, franking account schedules, and related forecasts
  • Support Transfer Pricing activities, including data compilation, documentation, and annual processes
  • Prepare tax certificates and residency documentation for global transactions

 

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare Australian tax provisions (current and deferred)
  • Consolidate regional tax inputs for global reporting
  • Maintain cash tax forecasts

 

R&D Incentives & Project Support

  • Work with project and engineering teams to gather data for R&D claims
  • Track eligible activities, expenditure, and supporting evidence

 

FBT

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Mobility teams to support FBT compliance
  • Assist with data preparation, reconciliations, and schedules

 

Tax Governance & Advisory

  • Maintain tax control documentation and process notes
  • Support control testing and remediation
  • Conduct tax research and draft recommendations on routine matters
  • Assist with ATO reviews, information requests, and internal governance initiatives

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in tax, accounting, or audit
  • Strong Excel and data‑handling capability with high attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a complex environment
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across global teams
  • CA/CPA qualified or progressing
  • Experience in multinational or cross‑border tax favourable
  • Familiarity with ERP or tax reporting tools advantageous
