Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a background in the design of O&G facilities to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Brisbane, Queensland.

 

Our energy expertise in the oil and gas sector comprises the entire value chain - upstream, midstream, and downstream; and in the power sector includes thermal, nuclear, waterpower, renewable, hybrid, transmission and distribution, and grid modernization. As the successful candidate, you will have:

 

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree with 4 to 8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in Engineering Companies in the O&G sector (desirable).
  • Knowledge of piping and mechanical codes
  • Experience in stress analysis using Caesar
  • Exposure or proficiency with design and specification of pressure vessels, tanks, piping and valves
  • Knowledge of pipeline design and pipeline codes would be an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Able to participate in field projects as well as design work.
