Be part of integration efforts for our global client base using your expertise and experience in digital systems combined with a comprehensive knowledge of designing, implementing and operating advanced technology in supply chain applications. This journey will lead to improved project outcomes; leveraging systems integration and interoperability to deliver safe, productive and highly functional port facilities.

 

As the successful candidate, you will:

 

  • Contribute to the implementation of digital systems and autonomous projects in Ports & Terminals
  • Contribute to the Hatch culture of safety and integrity in all aspects of the role
  • Act as a Project Integration Lead for the design and delivery of digital and automated solutions
  • Work with client management teams to ensure high quality project outcomes by using your sector experience and expertise.
  • Lead Hatch teams to conduct integrated testing and commissioning in emulated and live equipment environments
  • Assist clients in establishing life-cycle governance and management systems for the testing, release and management of terminal software and hardware
  • Coordinate with different client groups (Operations, Project, Maintenance etc) and vendors to prioritise and schedule activities
  • Implement a best-practice approach to the software development management lifecycle
  • Implement data analytics solutions and the data infrastructure required to enable the analytics (e.g. OSISoft PI). 

 

You will bring to the role:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related Engineering discipline – software, computer, mechatronics, mechanical or a related field.
  • Experience executing complex automation projects in an industrial sector such as Infrastructure (Ports, Rail, Cities), Metals (including Mining), autonomous vehicles and/or Heavy Equipment
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering value to industrial operations environments by integrating and implementing automation, real-time information management systems and other digital solutions.
  • Experience integrating commercial TOS systems (such as Navis, Cyberlogitech or Tideworks) with 3rd party applications and / or with automated container handling systems
  • Excellent understanding of Automation Systems (e.g. SCADA, PLC, DCS, Safety Systems), Operations Management Systems (e.g. MES, TOS, Real-time Timeseries databases or Historians), and relevant standards such as ISA-95 or industrial automation architectures.  Specific experience with OSISoft PI and Tableau would be an asset. 
  • Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC) including quality assurance / automated testing, software configuration management, etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and/or work at client sites, often outside of normal business hours as part of a global team
