This role will focus on developing and implementing communications throughout our Australia-Asia region, while coordinating and connecting with global initiatives. The role will work closely with key regional business leaders and our global team to understand their specific communications challenges, provide advice, develop communication plans, and execute them. We’re looking for someone who brings technical strength, clear communication, and solid project management skills, paired with the confidence to offer fresh ideas and drive positive change. - Collaborate with a team of resources in the region
- Work closely with key business leaders including our regional leadership team to identify, advise, develop and execute communications strategies to support their specific goals
- Develop regional communications programs ensuring the appropriate business sponsorship, compliance with other communications programs, clarity in deliverables and timing, and the allocation of resources
- Liaise with the global team to develop marketing materials including press releases, speeches, briefings, media relations, and corporate social media
- Manage communication programs from planning through to implementation including providing hands-on support while managing resources, timelines, and deliverables from other team members
- Measure, analyze and report on the performance of our communications initiatives and make improvement recommendations based on insights, best practices, and experience
- Seek out opportunities to apply new and innovative approaches to reaching our clients and employees and communicating our key messages to them
You bring to the role:
You have a background that includes a college diploma or university degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, or communications, along with 7-10 years of experience in a corporate environment. Your career so far has given you valuable exposure to working across different cultures and complex global organisations. You bring a strong understanding of marketing, media relations, public relations, and communications strategy, supported by refined skills in planning, writing, editing, and project management. You’re confident developing a wide range of print and digital marketing and communication materials and enjoy being hands on in their creation. Your business acumen, sound judgment, and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and across regions enable you to consult, influence, and build trusted relationships. You work well independently, know when to seek guidance or escalate issues, and you bring exceptional relationship‑building and interpersonal skills to everything you do.
