Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Hatch's Health and Safety Management System and Safety Information System (iPasSM).
  • Coordinate and maintain regional safety documentation, procedure registers and document control processes.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly safety reporting, including statistics, audit results and inspection data.
  • Monitor incident reporting and investigations, ensuring actions are tracked, followed up and closed out in a timely manner.
  • Assist project and study teams with incident reporting requirements and the distribution of notifications.
  • Support the planning and delivery of health and safety initiatives, campaigns, events and training programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials, inductions, handouts and project-specific safety documentation.
  • Maintain and update the AUA Health and Safety SharePoint site to ensure information remains current and accessible.
  • Provide support to quality-related activities within iPasSM, including reporting, action tracking and data analysis.

You have a strong understanding of safety processes and the challenges of supporting project teams in a matrix environment, where influencing outcomes and building relationships are critical to success. Experience in safety management, auditing, governance activities and safety performance reporting will be highly regarded.
