Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Brisbane.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Deliver Electrical and Instrumentation design and drafting activities across a range of projects.
• Develop and review 2D and 3D layouts, models, drawings, and design documentation.
• Coordinate E&I design activities within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Support the development of project schedules and capital cost estimates.
• Participate in design reviews and technical support during construction, commissioning, and project execution phases.
• Mentor and support junior designers while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will bring to the role:

• Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation design within mining, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Experience working on large multidisciplinary EPCM projects.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, with Bentley design tools highly regarded.
• Experience coordinating design deliverables across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and international electrical and instrumentation standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working on large industrial processing plant projects.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project environment.
