We’ve just secured a major, high‑profile infrastructure project and we’re growing our team to deliver it. This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer who wants to work on complex bridge and station structures that will shape future transport networks. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will support the delivery of high‑quality design solutions across bridge and station projects.

In this role, you will:

• Assist the Lead Structural Engineer in meeting project outcomes related to scope, quantities, cost, and schedule.
• Produce, update, and maintain technical and engineering drawings using 2D CAD software.
• Complete conceptual layout work under the guidance of the Lead Structural Engineer.
• Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for bridge and station assets in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Support equipment and layout development across studies, feasibility assessments, and detailed design phases.
• Embed safety considerations into all aspects of design.

What You Bring:

• A diploma (N Dip) or equivalent qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering, supported by knowledge of relevant industry and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with design regulations, codes, and requirements relating to bridges, stations, or broader transport infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD platforms, ideally Bentley MicroStation or OpenBuildings Designer.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A methodical, detail‑oriented approach that ensures accurate and efficient work.
• The ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
