Hatch is looking for an enthusiastic Project Engineer with 5-10 years of industry experience to join our Oil and Gas team in Calgary! You would be working within a growing team on projects worldwide while continuing to provide exemplary service to our local Canadian clients. The successful candidate for this role will be working within the upstream and midstream sectors helping guide the engineering phases our projects to successful completion while following best industry practices and company and client rules and guidelines.
 
Job Duties:

• Supports the Engineering and/or Project Manager in deliverables related to scope of work and engineering packages
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Provides technical knowledge towards engineering design and development, and monitors project budget, quality and potential risks associated with the project.
• Ensuing adherence to project quality standards
• Good understanding and experience in multiple phases of project execution.
• Extensive knowledge of the engineering and construction industry.

Qualifications:

• Accredited degree in applicable field of study
• Professional Engineer background, P.Eng is preferred
• Experience on midstream oil and gas projecs required
• Successful project delivery as a Project Engineer on large capital projects
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering within EPC/EPCM projects.
