Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Bridge Structural Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Gurgaon/ Gurugram – Delhi NCR

Role Summary:

This position will suit a Bridge Structural Engineer who has demonstrated experience working in the Infrastructure sector and is looking to further their career. You will be provided with an opportunity to recruit, motivate and mentor team members and secure key roles on a variety of different Projects for well-known, reputable Clients.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading and managing the process of engineering commitments in accordance with scope, schedule, budget and procedures to ensure successful project completion
• Provide Structural engineering analysis and design for varied public structures and associated foundations for steel and concrete to Australian Standards
• Prepare, reviewing and checking engineering calculations, technical specifications and scopes of work
• Prepare Material Take Offs/Bill of Quantities
• Review and check engineering drawings
• Provide input to engineering, operating and cost estimates
• Leading in and contributing to design reviews
• Lead the way on design from tender through feasibility to detailed design
• Client/Stakeholder management
• Mentoring junior staff

Key required qualifications and experience:

• Experience in the coordination, design and delivery of roads projects within multi-disciplinary projects.
• A degree in Civil engineering from a recognized University.
• Demonstrated design experience including bridges, culverts, wall and preferably heavy industrial and material handling facilities
• Experience with Structural design software such as Midas, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit and StaadPro
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry and/or regulatory standards relating to Structural engineering ) including AASHTO and Australian codes and standards
• Prior experience within the public infrastructure sectors in multinational companies
