Hatch is currently seeking LOCAL HOUSTON STUDENTS GRADUATING IN 2023 with an associate degree for a Junior Piping Designer for our team located in Houston. As a Junior Piping Designer, you will be responsible for the production of mechanical and piping layouts, models and drawings in accordance with project requirements under the supervision of the Lead Mechanical / Piping Designer.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform the design and drafting of mechanical and piping plant models using applicable standards, project technical specifications and enterprise or project procedures.
- Development of 3D models in an integrated CAD environment
- General Arrangement drawings of piping and plant layouts from the 3D model as required by the project.
- Generate piping isometric drawings from the 3D model as required by the project.
- Preparation of and updates to project deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) and pipe isometric drawings
- Provide material quantity take offs for estimating purposes or inclusion into bulk commodity purchases and installation contracts.
Education and Experience:
- Graduating in 2023, or recently graduated, with an associate degree in Computer Aided Design (specialization in mechanical and piping systems) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
