We are seeking a motivated and talented student intern to join our Digital Products Group focusing on improving our SaaS sales. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. The student candidate will support our global sales team, collaborate with industry leaders, and contribute to the marketing and development of our Hatch Integrated Tailings Management (HITM) product. The student candidate will work closely with the Global Products Director along with Industry principals and Business Development personnel, all whom will provide guidance and mentoring.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related field.
- The ideal student candidate should possess proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools is essential, as well as strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- The candidate should understand the difference between consultative enterprise selling and self-service or transactional selling.
- Spanish-speaking candidates are highly welcome, as bilingual skills can enhance communication with diverse clients.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also important qualities for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Digital Product Global Sales Team:
The student candidate will support the Digital Product global sales team by assisting in sales enablement activities, preparing sales materials and presentations, contributing to the development and execution of sales strategies, and providing support in marketing initiatives and campaigns. They will also aid in commercial and business operations tasks to ensure smooth workflow and coordination
- Success Metric: Support preparation and delivery of sales materials, with a target of zero errors.
- Success Metric: Support preparation of at least five proposals per quarter.
- Success Metric: Support in CSM activities to reduce churn with existing customer base.
- Collaborate with Industry Principal and Business Development Manager:
Additionally, the student candidate will collaborate with the industry principal and business development manager to identify and pursue opportunities for selling Hatch Integrated Tailings Management (HITM). They will participate in meetings and discussions to strategize business development efforts and assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Success Metric: Support the IP & BD with the implementation of at least two sales strategies per quarter.
- Success Metric: Identification and pursuit of at least five (5) new business opportunities per quarter.
- Success Metric: Active participation in at least 75% of scheduled meetings.
- Marketing and Product Development:
Furthermore, the student candidate will partner with the marketing team to enhance the HITM brand through various marketing channels and collaborate with the SaaS product development team to provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements. They will support the creation of marketing content and materials that effectively communicate the value of HITM.
- Success Metric: Increase in campaign engagement by 10% within the first six months.
- Success Metric: Increase in brand awareness by 20% within the first year.
- Success Metric: Creation of at least four high-quality marketing materials per quarter.

- Perform assignments related to your sector
- Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
- Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
- Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
- Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
