Permit to Work coordinators are responsible for managing the full process of obtaining permits to work, including review applications for completeness, conducting inspections, issuing permits, and enforcing permit conditions, and:
- Review and authorize PTWs
- Develop and update all PTW procedures, instructions, protocols, registers, and forms.
- Ensure that all procedures and requirement related to PTW are followed by all parties.
- Ensure that all permits are issued in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with HSE requirements.
- Coordinating Owner’s Contractors/Subcontractors on Site throughout the permitting process
- Ensure that field checks and pre-task talk are done through audits and inspections.
- Ensure that through PTW all possible interferences on Site are managed.
- Updated the PTW board, including the Fatal Risk Management, any time is needed.
- Communicating with Owner about the status of permitting applications and responding to questions about the permitting process.
- Checking the adequacy of personnel belonging to the Owner’s Contractors, promoting any actions required to achieve objectives.
