We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team for a long-term assignment at a remote site location. The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry. This role requires a dedicated professional who is available for a 6/2 weeks roster basis and is proficient in operating design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design/modeling software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the company's site representative, providing technical support for the client teams during the engineering and construction phases of the project.
- Collaborate with the client's team, the company's home engineering offices, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee construction projects at remote site locations. Report to the home office engineering team for any site problems and liaise with the client or contractor to troubleshoot.
- Ensure that the construction works undertaken by contractors are in accordance with the latest design drawings or models and highest industry practices.
- Ensure the quality of work undertaken by contractors meets project specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Utilize design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other software) to create and review project/work plans.
- Conduct site inspections and sign off on behalf of the company.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry. Preferably 2-5 years since graduation from university.
- Strong engineering background.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design software.
- Fluent in writing and speaking English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in remote locations on a 6/2 weeks roster basis.
- Certified inspectors are not a must but preferable.
- Indonesian nationality.
