CORE brings together the necessary elements of a project to achieve nameplate value and deliver peak asset performance. We take a staged approach to verifying technical readiness and ensuring organizational preparedness, right up to achieving full operational capacity.
The role suits a management consultant with strong delivery capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to contribute to business development, client delivery, and internal capability building.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Delivery & Execution
- Support and lead workstreams across Operational Readiness and Ramp-Up engagements from late project phases through stabilisation
- Develop and execute Operational Readiness strategies, readiness frameworks, and integrated ramp-up plans aligned to operational and business milestones
- Conduct readiness assessments and gap analyses across:
- People and capability
- Operating model and organisational design
- Processes, governance, and decision rights
- Systems, data, and performance management
- Support the design and implementation of:
- Target operating models and organisation structures
- Role clarity, capability requirements, and workforce readiness plans
- End-to-end business processes and operational governance
- Develop high-quality client deliverables, including:
- Operational Readiness strategies and execution plans
- Ramp-up and stabilisation plans
- Executive-level presentations, dashboards, and progress reporting
- Work closely with operations, project, and leadership teams to ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual and early operational performance stabilisation
- Business Development & Commercial Support
- Actively support business development activities, including:
- Proposal development and bid responses
- Client presentations and capability discussions
- Development of case studies and credentials
- Identify opportunities to expand scope within existing client engagements, particularly across readiness, ramp-up, and operational performance improvement
- Contribute to shaping and refining Operational Readiness and Ramp-Up value propositions
- Stakeholder & Client Management

- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across operations, project, and executive levels
- Support and facilitate workshops, readiness reviews, and decision-making forums
- Communicate clearly and confidently with senior client teams
- Internal Capability & Practice Development

- Contribute to the development of Operational Readiness and Ramp-Up methodologies, tools, templates, and thought leadership
- Support mentoring and capability development of junior consultants and analysts
- Contribute to strengthening delivery standards, ways of working, and consulting excellence within the core team
Experience & Qualifications
Required Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in a management consulting, advisory, or professional services environment, with preference to an Engineering degree
- Availability to travel as required to support client engagements at project sites, including international locations.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Operational Readiness and ramp-up to stable operations
- Operating model design and operational transitions
- Both client delivery and business development support
- Complex operating industries (e.g. mining, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing) is strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced client environments
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and shape client opportunities
- High levels of ownership, accountability, and delivery discipline
- Comfortable operating in lean, high-impact consulting teams
