The Finance Manager at Hatch is a hands-on role responsible for performing a broad range of accounting and financial management activities in compliance with established accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. This position provides technical accounting expertise and support to the Regional Finance Manager, as well as to Accounting and Finance teams across multiple jurisdictions. The role is accountable for overseeing financial operations, ensuring strong governance practices, maintaining accurate financial reporting and statutory books, and supporting full compliance with corporate policies, tax regulations, and statutory obligations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely corporate financial reports.
  • Review financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to support operations.
  • Ensure full tax compliance, including reviewing monthly tax calculations and annual income tax filings.
  • Supervise monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Oversee reconciliations of general ledger accounts, intercompany balances, and bank statements.
  • Coordinate and prepare required information for transfer pricing documentation, BCRP reports, and regulatory authorities.
  • Partner with Project Managers to follow up on financial matters, ensuring alignment between project performance and financial reporting.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
