Hatch is seeking a Regional Leader to lead its practice as a in the South America Region. The Power team brings together experts ina variety of disciplines ranging of Hydropower, renewables, eGrid, nuclear and other related areas to inspire positive changes in cities and communities around the world.
The Power team at Hatch is a long-established group and has grown organically at a succesfull rate globally for the past ten years. The next phase of growth will be further expansion as we establish a broader presence across the South Americam continent, most notably in Perú, Chile, Colombia and Brazil. This exciting role will oversee all aspect of our regional power business and join a strong global leadership team that is one of the main pillars of Hatch's services offering.
Reporting to the Managing Director Power, this role will be based out of Lima, Perú and be responsible for growing and leading a thriving multidisciplinary group in coordination with colleagues around the broder global Hatch platform. The Regional Power Lead will provide leadership in mantaining and further developíng the Power practice, including responsability for business development, team leadershipp and development, thought leadership and research, client engagement, technical oversight of deliverables and project financial performance.

Responsabilities
- Act as the overall regional leader for Hatch's Power business and be responsible for the growth of the practice in the market and financially.
- Achieving and developing business development targets through client relationships and project pursuits
- Grow the team to match increasing workload and collaborate globally with the whole of the Energy Global team.
- Lead the bid development process by managing technical proposals and providing written technical inputs as necessary.
- Provide the strategic planning of short and long-term business direction.
- Liaise, network and encourage collaboration across Hatch's disciplines and businesses that contribute to the overall Power offer.
- Work closely with other managers on all ongoing projects and staffing.
- Provide quality assurance of ongoinfg projects, reports, bids, submissions and products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in engineering, science or relative fields.
- 15+ years of experience in Power consulting or a related field with a striong consulting element.
- Previous experience in leading and growing team and function for commercial performance in a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Demonstrable track record of succesful business development and achievment of targets.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively; build relationships and influence effectively, with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
- Excellewnt communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments.
- Fluent in both languages (English and Spanish)
