Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Supervisor, Transit to join the infrastructure group in our Linear Infrastructure & Facilities team in the Markham, ON location.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Reviewing of contractors' work for conformance with contract documents.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Advising the Contract Administrator on Contractors' method(s) of construction and progress.
  • Change Order(s), daily construction photos, and other required documentation.
  • Review of Contractors' compliances with Health and Safety practices.
  • Participates in review of submittals.
  • Maintain Submittals, RFI and coordinate with engineering team for inputs.
  • Good technical writing skills along with a good command of English language in both written and verbal capacities.

 

You will bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated working experience on construction sites preferably with rail corridors and transit facilities experience.
  • P.Eng. or OAA or C.E.T designation, or Accredited Architectural or Building Technologist, licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario.
  • Experience in construction administration and review to ensure adherence to contract documents, plans and specifications.
  • Conduct field inspections of engineering designs.
  • Ability to carry out all quality assurance and quality control functions to confirm contractor's adherence to the construction contract documents.
