Hatch is currently seeking Junior H&H or Civil/Structural Engineers to be part of an integrated engineering team providing engineering services for large and small capital projects in our Minneapolis, MN office. This position allows candidates to directly apply and develop their knowledge for the development and rehabilitation of dams and hydropower projects. In addition to theoretical design and analytical work, candidates will gain valuable on-site practical experience.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Lead Engineer in developing project scopes, engineering estimates, capital cost estimates and developing repair methodologies
  • Apply engineering principles to provide efficient, effective, economical and timely solutions to design problems in a multidiscipline project environment

 

Qualifications:

  • A recent or soon to be graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or H&H Engineering
  • Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams
  • Commitment to achieving engineering excellence
  • A desire to learn and continually develop
  • Co-op or Summer Student experience an asset
