Title: Highways and Bridges Co-op – Mississauga
Position Summary:
Hatch is seeking a Highways and Bridges Co-op Student with interest in civil engineering for a 12-16 month internship starting May 2024. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer of Highways and Bridges in Municipal Infrastructure you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga office.

Responsibilities:
- Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering task for infrastructure projects;
- Coordination with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables;
- Compilation of design drawings;
- Preparing design submissions and other technical documents;
- Assistance of Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed.
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering co-op program;
- In good academic standing;
- Interested in civil engineering as a career;
- Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset;
- Experience with municipal infrastructure, geotechnical field work, and construction is an asset;
- Experience in development of project layout and civil details.
