About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and innovative co-op student to join our Commercial, Contracts and Corporate Legal Services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the development and adoption of software tools within our legal and contracting functions.

 What Will an Internship at Hatch Offer You:

 You will:

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline  workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Support the team in mapping current processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements for contract and legal operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop documentation, training materials, and best practices for new systems and procedures.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and innovations in legal practice, contract management, and workflow automation.
• Participate in testing and user adoption activities for new tools and processes.

Education and Experience:

•      Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, Business, Law, or related field).
•      Strong interest in innovation, technology, software solutions, contracting, and legal practice.
•      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
•      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; familiarity with AI tools or contract management software is an asset.
•      Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•      Multilingual skills (French, Spanish, or Portuguese) are an asset. 

Compensation:

Range: $25.00 - $31.00

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
