The Hatch Project Commercial group is seeking a Commercial Student for a four (4) month term starting in May 2026, with an interest in Business and the Engineering Consulting Industry. Reporting to the Global Director of the Business Management Group, you will support projects globally based out of our Mississauga location.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Assist team by updating the Business Management internal SharePoint.
• Coordinating tasks related to the Business Management tool, based on the requirement list.
• Assist the Business Management team in project specific tasks, on an as needed basis, for commercial, contractual and/or business risk related topics.
• Manage the routine Business Management tasks and reports, e.g. indirect rationale report, new engagement report, monthly team meeting coordination.
• Participate in updating and/or developing standard Business Management processes, procedures and templates.
• Lead various Business Management improvement initiatives, as needed, following the PDCA cycle.

You bring to the role:

• Must currently be enrolled in either Business,Technical or Sciences related program.
• Excel academically while being actively involved in extra-curricular and/or volunteer activities at school or in the community.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have an aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Enjoy taking on new challenges with a commitment to achieving engineering excellence.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of commercial terms would be an asset.

Compensation:

Range: $24.00 - $27.00

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
