Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Engineering Coordinator new graduate to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG). Reporting to the Regional Manager of Construction, the role would be based in Mississauga, Ontario.

As the successful candidate, you will:
- Support the development of proposals to clients for EPCM services at various stages of project execution.
- Support the development of work plans and estimates for the CM services in proposal development.
- Support in the development of site organization charts, staffing plans, execution strategies and methodology for executing CM services to support EPCM proposals for Front-End engineering studies and project execution work.
- Responsible for safe work planning associated with the selection of construction execution methods, with support of the Senior CM, Project Manager and Health and Safety Manager.
- Support the development of project field procedures within corporate policies and procedures as necessitated by job-site conditions.
- Support the constructability process on projects, perform constructability reviews, document them, and prepare client facing presentations detailing the construction strategies and execution plan for the project.
- Support the development and implementation of Construction programs, including digital systems & tools that track construction scope, progress, and budgets.
- Support the Engineering and Project Controls teams in the development of 4D simulations using the engineering 3D model and the project schedule.
- Develop an understanding of the Hatch digital systems, how they interact and how they pass data between them.
- Support Advanced Work Packaging on projects, coordinating with engineering, planning, procurement and estimating teams to align on Construction Work Package breakdowns
- Develop CWP definition to a level sufficient to develop a level three schedule.
- Liaises with the Senior CM, and project team of design engineers, procurement, planning and scheduling and other personnel as required to ensure timely construction performance.
- Assist in the development and review of construction estimates, budgets, forecasts and schedules.
- Adherence to all local regulations and statutory requirements in site activities planning.
- Ensure that the Senior CM is informed of construction concerns.
- Develop and coordinate the preparation and issue of the Construction Execution Plan.
- Liaise with CM team, Engineers and Contractors to deliver the project in a safe manner, on time and within budget.
- Provide construction technical support to other functions as needed.
- Participate in contractor progress, cost and safety meetings.
- Recommend requirements for construction resources and strategies to meet the schedule in each area.
- Cooperate with the Pre-Operational Testing Manager in the planning of transfer packages.
You bring to the role:
- Engineering Degree or Diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Previous experience in an engineering and/or construction environment is an asset.
- Efficient and above average skills in report writing, presentations, planning, organization, leadership, management and administrative processes.
- An ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate directly with the team members on key issues in a timely, efficient and trustworthy manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with a wide range of equipment, systems, tools, and technologies used in the management of construction activities.
- Mobility required to work on local projects and project sites globally.
- Ability to operate independently and effectively direct in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation:
Range: $81,000.00 - $84,000.00
At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.
Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
