Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a dynamic and creative Consultant – Talent and Culture to join our team in Mississauga.
The role reports into the Global Lead – Talent and Culture within the Global People Development HR Practice. The Consultant – Talent and Culture will be accountable for supporting the design, development and governance of global talent and culture processes and initiatives, including performance management, career management, onboarding, engagement initiatives, coaching and assessments. The goal of this role (and of the team) is to enhance the performance, engagement, and connection to our culture of our employees and leadership teams globally across Hatch. The Consultant will establish relationships and partner with colleagues on both global and regional teams to understand the full scope and unique needs of our business, effectively collecting feedback and requirements to tailor programs and processes for greatest impact.
Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with HR and senior leaders to understand the needs and priorities of the business and how the talent and culture team can support.
- Initiate, plan, execute and monitor global talent and culture programs and processes for Hatch globally leveraging innovative thinking and best practices.
- Develop standardized methods, tools and templates for the assessment, design, development, implementation, evaluation and reporting for a range of processes and programs.
- Incorporate change management principles and practices in the planning and execution of programs including effective sponsorship and stakeholder communication.
- Establish metrics for evaluating the performance of programs and processes (leveraging existing operational metrics or creating new ones) and develop recommendations based on the review of metrics to drive behavioral/cultural changes.
- Collaborate positively with business leaders and the broader human resources team to design, develop and execute on new processes or programs.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to optimize or standardize process delivery, including using HR systems.
- Participate in the future-state process design and implementation of HR systems to execute talent processes aligned with business needs.
You bring to the role:
- 5-10 years of corporate or consulting experience in the design, development and/or delivery of talent processes and culture programs
- Experience in collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to design or deliver processes and programs aligned between business strategy, goals, behaviors.
- Strong EQ skills, resiliency, adaptability, ability to deal with ambiguity, and act to influence positive change.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with experience working in a fast-paced and results oriented environment.
- Strong people skills, including ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, coach, and work in a team-based environment. Comfortable in a matrix organization and working with a variety of cross functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for identifying client needs and developing solutions.
- Knowledge of current trends in talent and culture, including HR systems to execute such processes and programs.
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure or mining industries is an asset.
