Job Title: Global Safety Systems Coordinator


Reports To: Global Director, Health and Safety


Department/Division: Project Delivery Group


Employment Status: Full-time


Purpose: The Global Safety Systems Coordinator is to support the overall Global Health and Safety Information Management System (iPas SM), including office and associated project support. The role will receive direction from the Global Director of Health and Safety, to assist with the organization mandates. 


The incumbent must be adaptable, self-motivated, can work both independently as well as in a team environment, and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with both colleagues and external clients through excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities Include:

Provide support to the Global Director of Health and Safety to implement, maintain and manage the global safety information management system including:

  • Provide functional guidance, design and corporate direction for the development of iPas SM database in cnsultation with the Global Director of Health and Safety.
  • Cordinate and support the Hatch Cre Systems team t effect solutions or enhance our system.
  • Revisin and maintenance of global Health and Safety documentation.
  • Co-ordinate and guide new project setup and reporting.
  • Prepare and prvide solutions for statistical reporting to meet internal and client requirements and requests.
  • Provide training and functional/technical support including providing direction and advice to Regional Safety Administrators to support this role.
  • Conduct specific Health and Safety systems introduction training for newly appointed Health and Safety Leads, Safety Managers, Senior Safety Advisors, Safety Advisors, and Safety Administrators.


  • Proficiency with office systems, databases and other related applications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an administrative role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of computer skills.
  • A high level of organizational skills.
  • A passion for continual improvement of health and safety performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Creative problem-solving ability.
  • Some knowledge of Health and Safety an asset.
