We are seeking a respected and energetic leader known for coaching and engaging diverse teams at all levels in complex, global environments.  


As an experienced Information Architect, you will consolidate your understanding of stakeholder requirements for information, the information systems architecture and project information model to articulate a vendor data management and project deliverables handover strategy.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a wide variety of aspects relating to the execution of EPC/EPCM projects, including engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction functions
  • Familiarity with most aspects of system definition, development and deployment
  • Experience in engaging and motivating a broad range of client and project stakeholders from executive-level to manager to technical specialist.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the methods and technologies associated with the development of a project information model and associated content to improve asset data integrity
  • Specific experience in the use of the Hexagon (Intergraph) SmartPlant suite of products; particularly with the development of data interoperability and exchange interfaces
  • Extensive experience in the definition, consolidation and handover of project information to plant operations.


As the successful candidate, you will be:

  • Defining and articulating the project information model and data attributes comprising each project data flow
  • Defining and articulating the scope of information handover corresponding to the Digital Asset Information Model (a subset of the overarching project information model)
  • Defining and articulating the source of project master data to be handed over
  • Defining and articulating ownership of project information across functions
  • Defining and articulating the information handover strategy, process, plan and procedures
  • Implementing data quality management, auditing and reporting processes
  • Implementing processes and procedures to support deliverables handover in a data centric environment
  • Driving cultural change to support new ways of working across the client’s digital endeavors
  • Collaborating will all project functions to ensure understanding and application of plans and procedures


You bring to the role:

  • Familiarity with industry initiatives relating to information quality management
  • Leadership qualities to bring a diverse group of stakeholders together, align on objectives and deliver solutions to meet client and project expectations
  • Facilitation, effective communication and presentation
  • An ability to filter, analyze and validate complex and dynamic material and effectively communicate concepts to others
  • Electronic data exchange processes with vendors
  • Handover of deliverables from a large capital project to an operator
  • Specific experience in the use of the Hexagon (Intergraph) SmartPlant suite of products, in particular with the development of data exchange interfaces
  • Experience with digital transformations to improve capital project delivery within the mining & metals, oil & gas, and/or chemical/pharmaceutical industries
  • Demonstrated experience in/understanding of engineering design, project procurement and construction delivery
