  • Perform all work and actions in a safe and secure manner
  • Maintain and support existing resources
  • Assist with proper implementation of new hardware or software
  • Seek and implement operational improvements
  • Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades
  • Work within a global team environment providing support to peers
  • Work with other discipline teams to ensure a proper consistent delivery
  • Develop business cases to support significant purchases
  • Follow Hatch processes and procedures for incident management
  • Keep up to date on trends and developments and bring knowledge of these to the appropriate forum


Qualifications - Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient with LAN/WAN networking concepts including VLANs, RIP and BGP routing protocols, access control, performance tuning and troubleshooting network bottlenecks
  • Ability to prepare network documentation and drawings
  • Microsoft server technologies
    • Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019
    • Hyper-V
  • HP Hardware, servers, storage, wireless and networking
  • PowerShell script development
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Solutions
    • Office 365
    • Azure
  • Organized, methodical troubleshooting
  • Ability to do some after-hours work


Desirable Knowledge and Skills

  • AWS, IBM Cloud
  • Skype for Business / Telecommunications
  • Active Directory
  • Linux



  • 8+ years of experience in a senior network administrator support role
  • Bachelor’s degree/advanced diploma in computing or computer science discipline or equivalent combination of education, training or work experience
