As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
Looking for a dynamic individual to join our Facilities team for our full time, permanent role. This is the right opportunity for someone that wants to be part of a professional environment without being tied to a desk job!
- Labour intensive role that assists with all office service requests including internal office moves, company events and mail room management for all three of our Oakville/Mississauga buildings
- Responsible for all the various types of communications with their colleagues, staff, and suppliers both internal and external
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Assists with internal company moves (moving computers, monitors, office equipment, etc)
- Assists with set up and tear down of company events (chairs, tables, screens, etc)
- Coordinates driving mail, courier packages, and supplies to other buildings and facilities
- Receiving, sorting and delivery of mail
- Delivering paper supplies
- Operating photocopiers, printers and faxes
- Knowledge in the construction field, in order to operate various hand tools, dealing with contractors and doing regular building maintenance
- Use FedEx software to process daily outgoing shipments
- Other duties as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Comfortable with a high amount of physical labour including long periods of standing and walking.
- Requires considerable judgment because decisions are taken regularly that might have a significant impact on internal operations
- A High School Diploma
- Similar experience in a office services or mail room role
- Fluent in English. Ability to speak, write and understand the language
- A valid Ontario driver’s license
- Ability to handle repetition, respect and meet deadlines, and follow a specific schedule
Base salary range: $43,000 - $55,000

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
