Hatch is seeking a Project Controls Student for an internship (6 – 12 months) starting in September 2025. Reporting to the Metals, High Pressure Metallurgy group, you will be reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, High Pressure Metallurgy, you will support local and international projects working from our Mississauga Head Office.

As the successful candidate, you will:
- Conduct study cost control and cost status weekly update.
- Assist project manager in tracking project cost, schedule and invoice payment.
- Conduct earned value management for active projects.
- Coordinate and administers trend and change management documentation.
- Assist with maintenance of cross project resource plans/forecasts
You bring to the role:
- Strong academic record in Project Management / Project Controls related College program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Expert working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of MS Project (or Primavera).
- Basic knowledge of project management fundamentals.
- Interpersonal, collaborative team building skills.
Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):
- Past co-op experience in project controls function.
- Participated in school project involving project management principles, e.g. cost management, scheduling, earned value management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
