Looking to take the next step in your engineering career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical Team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career within a global engineering consultancy, working alongside experienced professionals on complex and meaningful projects that create positive, sustainable impact. As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will support the delivery of geotechnical and earth sciences services across a range of projects. You will be exposed to multidisciplinary environments, innovative technologies, and a structured professional development program designed to support your technical growth and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Support geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design activities across a variety of projects
- Assist with site investigations, data interpretation, and technical reporting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes for clients
- Apply innovative and analytical thinking to solve technical challenges
- Contribute to the preparation of project deliverables in line with quality and safety standards
- Build strong working relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Participate in site work and field assignments as required
- Actively engage in Hatch’s graduate development, mentoring, and learning programs
About You
You will have recently completed, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a strong interest in Geotechnical Engineering and a solid academic record. You are a proactive and curious problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to think laterally and innovatively. You enjoy working collaboratively, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering quality outcomes. You are motivated, achievement-oriented, and passionate about making a positive difference through your work. Flexibility to travel and work across locations within Australia, and occasionally internationally, will be important to your success in this role.
