We are seeking a Package Manager to lead a ~$100M multidisciplinary construction package from concept through to delivery on a major project. This role is responsible for driving package development, early contractor engagement, execution and performance, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time and within budget. You will play a key role in coordinating across engineering, construction and contractor teams, providing clear leadership and ownership of your package while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. As the Package Manager, you will take end-to-end accountability for your assigned package, including scope definition, contractor engagement, fabrication oversight (steel and piping), and on-site execution. You will manage interfaces, resolve issues, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders to keep delivery on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the scope of work for the SMPEI package, lead evaluation, manage contractor selection, and drive contract award
  • Manage contract performance and progress, with a focus on steel and piping spool fabrication
  • Own and coordinate all package-related activities, supporting Area Managers where required
  • Interface with engineering and technical teams to resolve contractor queries and expedite outcomes
  • Apply prior project experience to optimise construction planning and execution
  • Monitor scope, cost, schedule and quality to ensure delivery targets are met
  • Lead meetings, manage stakeholders and maintain clear, consistent communication
  • Manage change across package lifecycle including fabrication, delivery and construction
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements

About You
You hold a degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline and bring 5-15 years’ experience across EPC/EPCM projects, including recent exposure to complex, multidisciplinary construction sites. You have proven experience managing contractors and vendor interfaces, supported by strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively. You are a confident communicator and leader, with a structured and solutions-focused approach. A strong commitment to safety is essential, along with the flexibility to travel to site and fabrication yards as required.
