We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our Project Controls team, supporting the successful delivery of complex EPCM projects across the full project lifecycle. This role will see you working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop, maintain, and analyse project schedules, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. We support our clients through their entire project lifecycle, from identifying potential business opportunities through front-end evaluation and definition, into project execution and commissioning, and increasingly into ongoing operations, including efficiency improvements and closure. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules across large, multidisciplinary EPCM projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain EPCM-level project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to align timelines and resources
  • Travel to site periodically to monitor and verify project progress, identifying risks, trends, and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Analyse and validate contractor schedules, including extension of time claims
  • Provide timely, accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis to stakeholders.
  • Develop timely and efficient planning input and analysis for other project reporting tools such as Synchro 4D and Power BI reports
  • Conduct periodic site travel to verify contractor progress and performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and planning best practices

About You
You bring over 10 years’ experience within EPCM project environments, with strong expertise in planning and project management methodologies. You have worked across large, complex, multidisciplinary projects where managing dependencies and milestones is critical within challenging external environments. You are highly proficient in Primavera P6 and the MS Office suite, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, collaborative, and geographically dispersed teams. Your communication skills enable you to clearly convey project insights to stakeholders, and you are well organised, able to prioritise effectively, and provide direction where required to ensure high-quality outcomes. You hold relevant qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
